Position Overview

TRUSTe is seeking talented, experienced QA Engineer to join its growing engineering team. You will take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. This position is located in our CEBU, Philippines office.

Responsibilities:

    Develop test documents for new features/applications
    Find and isolate bugs and determine their impact to the product or release
    Conduct integration, regression, ad-hoc, livability and edge-case testing as part of every release cycle
    Provide and meet time estimates for assigned deliverables
    Ensure that software releases provide an exceptional user experience



Personal Attributes:

    Experience of working in a start-up environment preferred
    Be creative in finding bugs
    Ability to execute test cases in a fast-paced environment
    Self starter able to proactively solve problems and work without much supervision
    Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
    Understanding of latest innovations, trends and emerging technologies in QA testing and test methodology



Required Skills:

    BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
    5 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
    3 years minimum experience with Java-based web applications
    Working knowledge of Java/Apache-Tomcat environment
    White-box and black-box testing experience
    Strong written and oral communications skills
    Experience in testing cross browser compatibility
    Experience with developing Functional Black Box QA Test plans, Test & Use cases, based on business requirements
    Experience in testing innovative ecommerce user interfaces (storefronts, portals, customer engagement)



Desired Skills:

    Experience of testing using Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
    Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or PostGRES and a good working knowledge of SQL
    Experience creating GUI automation testing
