LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu, Feb. 22 (PNA) -- The Hoops Dome in this city will play host to one of six out-of-town games of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioners’ Cup next month.

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters will be taking on each other on March 24 at the Hoops Dome.

This will be the first time Rain or Shine will play in Cebu and will be the homecoming game of center Joseph Ronald Quiñahan, who had an exemplary performance since transferring to the E-Painters before the start of the Philippine Cup.

Quiñahan, who has played with four teams since turning pro in 2007, was one of the reasons for the good finish of Rain or Shine last conference.

On the other hand, the Tropang Texters is hoping to give coach Chot Reyes another championship run before the mentor leaves the TNT bench to answer the call of duty with the Philippine men’s team -– the Smart-Gilas Pilipinas. (PNA)br>LAM/EB/MJT/bh
